Product Description

French women and Hollywood don’t always come together because there is a distinct language barrier that comes between them. However, Brigitte Bardot was able to penetrate that barrier with her talent and Parisian charm.

Together with Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot is considered as one of the best examples of female sexuality during their period, with a reputation of wearing bikinis when no one else dared to. They are two women confident with themselves and influenced other women to be confident with theirs.

In this rare photo taken by Terry O’Neill, Brigitte Bardot was captured in film with her feminine beauty and toughness playing together. Brigitte is seen in this photography with a cigarette to her mouth while the wind slowly caresses her hair. Take a walk down memory lane of Bardot necklines and bikini photo shoots as you hang one of this limited edition signed copy photos of Brigitte Bardot smoking a cigarette somewhere in Spain.

With over five decades of solid experience in the field of photography, Terry O’Neill was able to capture hundreds of memorable events in the lives of famous people. During his teenage years, Terry already had big ambitions so at 14, he decided to leave school to find what he thinks would be his calling in life – a jazz band. Soon after, Terry attended art school and became interested in photojournalism. While working at the London Heathrow Airport, he took snapshots of famous personalities and in 1959, his first photograph was published, a photo of then current secretary Rab Butler. After a year, Terry received one of the best offers of his life and that was to work for the most prestigious picture paper at that time, the Daily Sketch.

Since then, Terry O’Neill has been taking photographs and uses high quality silver gelatin to ensure vivid images like they were from yesterday.
