Born December 13th 1978 in London, Steve Alce is a self taught artist. His love for drawing came from a very early age, capturing his favourite sports stars on to paper. This helped Steve to develop his skills as a portrait artist and would eventually end up producing paintings of his boyhood heroes. Steve has producing paintings for various events and charities including Mike Tyson, Frank Bruno and Nigel Benn.
Steve can paint in all types of mediums with Acrylics being his preferred choice and paints a range of portraits focusing on the popular culture of film, music and sports personalities from the past and present.
