Rich Simmons is a 25 year old self taught street artist from the UK. His intricate stencil work is presented in a vivid, bold, pop art graffiti style that takes iconic figures and presents them in a way that is instantly recognisable and accessible to everyone.

Rich is the founder of a UK based organisation called Art Is The Cure that helps young people all over the world find a cure through art therapy. Inspiring people through his work and words, Rich became the Vinspires most inspirational volunteer in the UK for 2009.

The pieces are created using a combination of multi layered stencils and spray paint to create an incredibly detailed, iconic piece of art. The stencils take days to create and are all done by hand, from the drawing with a pencil to cutting with a scalpel knife stage. Every piece is a labour of love and has taken years to perfect and master the art of stencilling. The backgrounds take influence from both street and pop art to create vivid, bold, graffiti inspired settings that set the black white and grey layered stencils off perfectly.
